I got some new grips for my 22/45RP. The rubber finger groove grips are Pearce and they are the ones for the Colt government model 1911 and the grips are made by Majestic arms. I got them in the mail yesterday and already had plans to go to the range after work. so i hurried home from work and installed the new grips (about 5 minutes) and headed to the range. I thought i couldn't love this gun anymore than i already did but these grips quickly changed that thought. This is by far the best 40 dollars i have ever spent. the rubber finger groove inserts fit perfect and feel great and the wood grips are amazing. they feel great, look awesome and just add that extra touch of BADASS to an already sweet gun. If you like the stock grips, that's fine but i would recommend checking out the finger groove inserts. For $10 its a great way to improve the grip and handling of your gun. If you looking for a complete upgrade for the grips like i was wanting, this is the way to go. Just a reminder, i do have the 22/45 Replaceable panel model so keep that in mind if you consider either product.

Man, that looks fantastic. I wish mine had the replaceable panels. I have decent sized hands and those would really make it fit nice. I'm super jealous.

the new grips fit my hands so much better and just feels right. They would be perfect for someone with larger hands that feels like the stock grips are just to narrow for them. These grips made an already great gun even better.

Lets trade. I have the same pistol, minus the changeable grips and the fiberoptic sight...so I'll toss an extra $20 in to sweeten the pot.

hahaha, i'll think about it,lol. I love this gun so much i don't know if i would trade it for the world. Ok, i would for the world but it would take a lot to get me to ever sell or trade this gun. I know there are plenty more like it but there is just something about this particular gun that has my heart.
