Just call it a “professional sports development area” and start raking in the tax money—that’s how it apparently works. I hope Ms. Hackett stands her ground (“I sound really Pollyanna when I say this out loud but, you know, there’s just so much money in the world that you need,” she said. “And I’m good.”). The Metropolitan Development Commission is apparently voting on establishing that new tax district today.

This whole bunch needs to be shown the door. Why in the h*** is a governmental entity, direct or indirect, funding something for a private Sports organization?
