Ok INGO, I need your help.
Where can I find a new replacement satellite dish assembly for Direct tv?
I'm trying to do this without having to go through Direct tv. They will give me
a new one and install (I want to do it myself), but I have to sign a new 2 year contract (don't want to do that).
My dilemma is this. I run two tv's, one is receiving just fine. The other has been slowly going out over the last two weeks. Starts losing signal in clear weather. I can hear (even with tv muted) an audio stream download.
Yesterday, the receiver can no longer find a signal.
Thanks for taking your time to respond to this.
    Also, I'm not running HD.

it really depends on how it is hooked up. is it a dual connection @ the satellite or a splitter somewhere in the house?if dual lnb at the dish. flip the cables & see if the other one starts acting up. Here is a link to a sat shop replacement Dual LNB.
also have you ran signal strength tests at both rcvrs? are they using the same transponders & sat?
