So says the former copyright boss in his opinion. Congress has no business regulating new technology. The market will take care of things. If it's good, it will be adopted. If it isn't, it will fail. This is just one power broker looking to consolidate power that shouldn't belong to politicians.

The 21st century is going to steamroll what the hand of overreaching government has done. Never before in the history of mankind has so much information been available so freely and so quickly to anyone who seeks it. Those who do their work in the shadows, or who have long held the curtain of information and decided who received the "golden apple" will naturally fight the coming of change. Nevertheless, like the dinosaur, they are going to disappear.
