New to Bloomington

Hello everyone, just moved to Bloomington.
Longtime shooting enthusiast from Virginia. Enjoy my many pistols, rifles, shotguns whenever I can.
Looking for a good range to join, any recommendation?

Welcome Tlam13! I go to Atterbury shooting range most of the time. There is also a shotgun range in Linton called H&H and a new range called Panther Ridge close by that I have not been to.

Depending on the route you take it's about 1-1.5 hrs. to Atterbury.

There is also Panther Ridge Training Center which is west of Bloomington, in Solsbery. And there is a club out in Columbus, but the name escapes me right now.

The Sportsmans Club is in Mitchell--30-45 mins from Bloomington. There's also Sugar Creek sporting clays near mitchell (and me), if you're into that too.

Nah, Bloomington is a good mix folks like anywhere else. Some good people, some crazies, and an equal mixture of flaming liberal and right wing whacko conservative ideologies. Plus there's lots of cute young things walking around, something I definitely miss living where I do now.

I was born and raised in Bloomington and still spend a lot of time there even though I live in the the deep dark and creepy woods. Welcome to the area!

Hoosier Hills Rifle and Pistol have a nice outdoor range on the other side of Nashvile (30-35 minutes).
