Hello all, I Am currently a college student / Sgt in the Indiana National Guard. Before college and the Guard I spent around 3 years in the Army at Fort Riley Kansas in the Big Red 1. 1-34 Armor was my company and I did a 13 month convoy escort mission in the Baghdad area during the surge in 06 - 07. Im really into ARs and am lookin to buy my first (well as far as civilian models at least). Currently I am trying to find a place to teach the wife to shoot in the Kokomo area and would love any info on a reasonable place to shoot.

Also interested in info on Saiga Shotguns and AK 47s tips tricks the whole 9 yards both are new to me and am looking to learn more about them.

Welcome to :ingo:, even if you're a leg and a tanker! (Purple text is used here for sarcasm ;)). Here's a list of places to shoot: https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...ion/8594-list_of_indiana_shooting_ranges.html. Like any other place on the net, you'll find 1000 different opinions on AR's, but the ppl here are more well informed and nicer than 99% of the rest of the webernets...

Thanks for your service! My son slept at the end of a runway in Iraq at about the same time.
