    It's really cool, awesome idea.

Is this your primary source of security for your firearms? Seeing as how it sticks out from the wall that far I would think it wouldn't take many ne'er-do-wells very long to figure out there's *something* in there.

Lol, not the way of securing my guns, just decoration.

When I saw the "wall art" title, I was concerned that this could be a hippie thread. I decided to open it anyway and then remembered I was on INGO. Very nice!

If you really must recess it into the wall, just remove the drywall and attach it directly to the studs, countersink it without so much cutting and work.

I like my wall art better but the wife didn't like it so she told me to hange it in the closet.

Looks very nice! However, the screws on the triggers of loaded weapons make me a tad nervous. I'd create an "L" shaped bracket that has a dowel or rubber-coated rod that slides into the barrel.

Otherwise, really cool piece of functional folk art. Home run for sure...and the lights are a great idea as well!!!

...shame you didn't have enough white paint to make the stripes look good. Maybe you can go back and touch up where you can see the wood through it when you buy more, though.
