If you're going to publicly humiliate me, at least do it in the right thread... that pic was taken after dinner on NFA Day, not the Alumni shoot.

And at least I got a dollar out of the deal! :lmfao:

This thread or the other it does not matter. What matter is that the pic gets posted.:D

And for the record, if you would have not molested my dollar and then tried to chase me down, I would have taken it back.

For all of those that do not know what we are talking about, here is a pic of the Kevlar Bearded One. Also the picture of Mark trying his best impression again!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Shooting-wise, the highlights of the Alumni event had to be the Thompson and the FNC. Both were new to me, and both were a heck of a lot of fun. The Thompson was just as heavy and unwieldly as I anticipated, but it ran oh so smooth... and the FNC was controllable, reliable, and flung brass with a vigor that made my AK-105 seem mild-mannered by comparison!

I agree, why, OH God why, was the Thompson not there on day one???? :crying:

It came along with one of the special guests we invited to the Alumni shoot. Now you first-timers will have something to look forward to next year. ;)

The Thompson was a once-in-a-lifetime privilege for me and I can't thank KCG enough for giving me the chance to shoot it. It's truly a legendary piece of machinery.

The best part of NFA Day is getting people interested in shooting sports and what better way is to show them young.

These pictures go along with Big Craig's WATERMELON quote and is what truly made the day special!

This is Scutter's and Spasmo's wonderful daughter finally getting interested in shooting something. She did an excellent job and never missed the watermelon!

Note for the record that I was not aiming or holding the gun for her. I was only supporting the barrel to take some of the weight off for her. My hand was under hers. :)

Here is the photo proof that VUPDBlue does eat bacon…!
Is it just me or does Nick look like a little kid looking at a birthday cake?!

At the INGO training camp, it’s important to keep up our energy every day. And what better way than to eat pork (and potatoes)! :D

I just want to add my thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Lovemywoods for their incredible hospitality, and great food. After seeing his property, I can definitely understand why he love’s his woods, what a place.

I also want to thank all those who set this up, I know how difficult it can be to get something like this organized and pulled off. You guys did an incredible job, and everything went very smoothly because of it.

To all the “vendors”, who brought out those lovely toys. A big thanks for letting us run your guns like we stole ‘em. You definitely brought a smile to a few faces.

Also a thanks to all the folks who loaned me ammo to run, of course is it really a loan if the brass comes back empty :D

Looking forward to getting together for this event again sometime, the drive is worth every minute of it.

    Tinman....

Good thing that plate was mined with toothpicks. He looks like he's about two seconds from smashing his face into it and gobbling it down! :):

OK, well other than missing out on the bacon wrapped sausage and not having the Thompson all to myself, I'd say it was a near perfect day! I think I got all of my videos uploaded to Youtube. Sorry for the lack of editing, but here they are:
