As a part-time DBA, I'm HIGHLY concerned that BATFE has developed and is maintaining an electronic database of records. For all intents and purposes, the NFA is an exceptionally small branch of the ATF. The ATF itself is an action-based, not intel-based, agency. Electronic maintenance or further development is, I can almost guarantee, minimal. Anyone else concerned that the NFA branch is maintaining electronic records? Up to this point I had hoped they were doing everything on paper...safe from all mistakes but spilled coffee.
