I had a large Cherry crotch log sawed into slabs for me. Butt end was 25" and the crotch end was 35". 6 feet long. Perfect for making unique, beautiful tables. These are live-edge slabs (bark still on them)
Lots of slabs to choose from. There is one that's 3" thick, a few that are about 2" thick, and a few thinner. There was some bad between the crotch, but that can be to your advantage. (Fill it in with designs, like a nature scene).
These have been stickered and have been air drying all through the dry hot Indiana summer we had. I'd say they are about dry, or very close to it.
Prices vary from slab to slab. Looking at roughly $100 per inch thickness, but some will be lower or higher.
