NICS delayed me for my 10/22!

went to Four Seasons today to pick up a Ruger 10/22, just got my Lifetime LTCH about a week and a half ago mind you.... they call it in, I get delayed... now the only thing I can think of is that this is my first purchase at a gun shop...


What say you sages of INGO, could that be the reason I was delayed?

I was NEVER delayed....until I got divorced. I've heard they do a more intense check after a divorce to look for domestic violence charges, restraining orders, etc. I also heard a misdemeanor can slow you down too....they look harder for a reason not to sell you a gun. I was delayed with the first purchase after the divorce...the following 4 or 5 have gone thru immediately.

I'm not accusing...just adding fuel to the rum running excuse

crap I've had a divorce... no restraining orders or anything like that... in fact nothing other then some bounced checks when I was young and stupid...err wait....now I'm just older..... hmmm
