I have been shopping for some night sights to add to a couple of my guns and came across this set of Amerglo's. I really like the sight picture and can imagine that during the day these will really pop, but I am curious to how well a glow dot in front and none in back can be useful in a dark setting. Anyone have or use these? Thoughts?

I really like my trijicon night sights myself. Personally, if I were going to have night sights at all - I'd want it visible in front and back.

With a tritium front sight and plain rear muscle memory and sight picture will need to be pretty good in order to acquire the front sight in the dark. Or the gun may need to be drawn and presented slightly nose high so the shooter can track the front sight.

I've installed just the front night sight for a couple of guys and they are pleased with the results. To each his own.:D

Thanks for the feedback guys! I found a few other forums that mention these sights and read nothing but good things, so I may be giving these a shot.
