night vision scopes

Does anyone have a ATN or equivilent Gen 1 NV rifle scope.
How well do these gen 1s work?
I have a ITT Gen III headgear but was wondering what one of these scopes was like . Any input would be great.

i had a atn gen 3 for awhile and it was a nice optic just not my cup of tea

i had a russian made gen 1 scope... I could "see" better in the dark, i just couldn't make anything out. To me, gen1 isn't worth it. Gen III and up are awesome.
