New Mexico Courts Stomp Religious Freedom ? Order Christian Couple to Pay Gay Fine | The Gateway Pundit

Apparently, all must be sacrificed on the alter of liberalism. You either have the government force you to support activities that are contrary to your religious beliefs or go out of business. I'm not going to make this into a "religious" issue (though there is room for that), but I am going to make it a 1st Amendment issue.

This couple politely declined to photograph a gay commitment ceremony. The lesbians went out and found another photographer, but also filed a complaint regarding sexual discrimination. The court decided the christian couple had discriminated and fined them $7000. They appealed saying their 1st amendment rights trump PC laws. The court disagreed and ultimately said that their religious beliefs don't factor into their business.

Lets see the government force freelance Atheists to design church websites. Maybe force Hindu butchers to carry beef. How about Muslim farms to keep pigs. We are not at the top of the slippery slope folks, we are on our way down.

Hey, remember when I asked the politicians what about this and they said that it would not happen?

LOL. There will be more and more of this.

You cannot "get the government out of the marriage business"; you merely chose sides.

A private business should be able to "discriminate" any way they darn well please. If they want to lose business for moral reasons that is entirely their choice. Heck, they'll probably get more business now!
