    (And if somebody can point me to the original thread about this, I'll be glad to post it there)

    But will the likes of eBay honor it? Or will have they gone so far in their plans that they still email out 1099s anyway?

    I'll believe it when I see it.



    *at least not for those below the old rule of 200 transactions/$20k.

    I suggest it would be based on how they deliver said 1099 documents. If electronic I could see them pushing them through. However, if they are printing and mailing them, that would be a significant expense so I'd bet it would be stopped. Besides, they can't quite have the final doc versions ready as there are still sales going on.

    I am certain they will run and archive the reports for future reporting!
