The Senate has rejected a proposal to expand background checks on gun purchases. There was majority support, 54-46, for the signature piece of a legislative package to curb gun violence. But that wasn't enough to clear a procedural hurdle requiring 60 votes.

Anybody have an official link as to how our senators voted? I assume they split, but I want to know for sure.

Donnelly belongs in Illinois or California, wanting to infringe on peoples rights. I'm going to thank Coats.
