I can't find the IC and my memory is foggy. I recall taking the indiana firearm law course offered by Guy (10 years ago) and the "roaming gun free zone" when a school function occured at a private hall.
Basically if one attended a school function (prom, award dinner) and the event was held on private property (aka a rented commercial hall)that all attending could not carry as the hall was considered a school for the event.
I am unsure if this law remained or if it was removed when the changes to allowed guns inside the car at school property.
