North Carolina expat in Indiana

Greetings! I've been poking around and reading some of the conversations on the forum and I figured it was time to join in. I'm originally from NC and that's where I got my concealed carry permit. I'm currently a graduate student at ND and will be for at least another 5 years. While I miss NC, I'm really glad to live in such a pro-gun state. Although it's in the south, it's odd how strict NC gun laws are (no carrying into restaurants that serve alcohol, no carrying into any place that charges admission, etc.). I'm in the South Bend area and I would be really thankful for any advice on stores, ranges, and groups that get together to shoot. I don't have a lot of spare time while I'm in school, but I like to make it to the range when I can.

Hello and welcome.
Midwest is on Grape Rd. you have to go there to at least look around. They have a range in Elkhart at their other store.
There is a great show this Saturday in Nappanee.

I've been over to the store on Grape Road a few times and it's a nice place. It's, of course, frustrating to be an NC resident and thus not able to buy anything other than ammo and accessories while I'm in there. I may have to check out that show in Nappanee.
