OK. I will applaud common sense. Only because it is so rare these days.

It doesn't seem to be uncommon amongst Sheriffs to say this any more. Even some big city Chiefs, who traditionally were anti RKBA for their citizens, seem to have started to come around (Detroit and Milwaukee IIRC).

Most Sheriffs Dept. realize the response time, especially in rural areas take longer. So it is very wise to be able to protect ones family.
