I just wanted to share... I earned my Brown belt in Tae Kwan Do yesterday. I am only four levels away from my Black belt!! I'm not sharing this for kudos.... I just wanted to let people know that it is never too late to act on a dream! I am almost 50 years old, too fat for my own good...but I broke a board that was held above my waist level by kicking a Skipping Front Snap Kick. I never would have believed that I could do this, and it has taken almost 18 months to get this far, but I am here and still moving forward!I feel like a Muppet Movie or an After-School Special (remember those?), but Never Ever Give Up!! There are many martial arts training facilities that can work with you to find your potential. Follow your dream- make it happen!
