We shoot the same four 48-round championship events as the Bianchi Cup: The Barricade, The Falling Plates, The Moving Target (modified), and The Practical.

Where: Wildcat Valley Rifle & Pistol Club, Brookston (click for map and directions)
    Setup: 9am
    First Shot: 10am
    Cost: $20 (might be $15, I can't remember)
    Rounds: 192
Caliber: 9x19 or larger for autos, .38 Special or larger for revolvers. .22 rimfire also allowed (see magazine/speedloader)
Magazines/speedloaders: enough to shoot an entire 48 round event WITHOUT reloading the magazines/speedloaders.

Whatever you use to shoot a USPSA or IDPA match from an equipment perspective will work for this match. That includes production-type firearms like Glocks, M&P, Sig, etc. .

Here's a couple of good videos that explain a few of the events from NRAhab (member of this forum).

I can't wait. Usually you have this on the same date that I run my pistol silhouette matches in Knox. Glad this month is different. See you Sunday.

No, you don't have to be a member of anything. Action Pistol is an NRA shooting game. The Bianchi Cup I guess would be like the Superbowl of that game. Sorry if my sports metaphor is a little off (it should be ok), I don't watch football. Just like Camp Perry is the big match for bullseye or the other shooting disciplines shot there.

I have shot action pistol there several times. They put on a good match that is a lot of fun.

Cool. I meant that you don't have to be a member of The Bianchi club.

Nope, you do not need to be a member of either Wildcat or NRA to shoot the match.

Your metaphor is accurate! NRA Action Pistol has many courses of fire that a club can use, but Wildcat always does the same four that are featured in the Bianchi Cup (the annual national champhionship): Barricade, Falling Plates, Moving Target, Practical.
