O.F. Mossberg Model 400 help!

I have a Mossberg lever .22 model 400, that I am cleaning and repairing for a friend. It was his grandfathers gun. Anyone know where I would be able to find parts? The spring that returns the ramp that feeds the shells from the magazine is weak so the gun tries to feed multiple shells. I checked all the online stores and no luck. Also, I would like to try and figure out some kind of manufacture date. There is not a serial number or anything to go off of. Any help would be appreciated!

Go to Mossberg 22 LR Models and Specifications scroll down to the 400. This may provide some information for you about manufacture dates.

You may want to try Numrich Gun Parts I have purchased Mossberg parts from them in the past.
