Townhall has obtained the email which states "Can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same FFL and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks Mark R. Chait Assistant Director Field Operations."

A lot of us that post here have been saying that this is what the plan was right after the story first broke. This scandal goes all the way up to the white house.

Apparently they weren't sneaky enough. Foxnews has ramped up their coverage of the scandal, most likely to embarrass this administration, but nonetheless it is finally getting some real coverage. Brit Hume said this was more scandalous than Watergate. The big conservative radio hosts like Rush and Levin are talking about it as well. Momentum is building against the administration. I think we're going to learn a lot more details in the coming months. Hopefully they drop a bombshell indicating that Obama was aware or even ordered around this time next year just in time for the election, of course that only helps us if the Republicans nominate a pro 2a candidate (not Romney).

This story is beyond crazy. The American people deserve better from their government. I realize the blatant media bias in this country but this story has gone nowhere.
