A bit of a head scratcher, since the best time to ram even extreme gun control legislation through seems to be when the emotional burner is still hot.
Obviously Obama has not changed in his ultimate pipe dream of an all out nationwide confiscation, one has to wonder what they're up to by putting the brakes on now. Unless it has something to do with the reaction after any gun-related tragedy making national headlines.
