Low voter turnout in many states (yes, it was low) did it, again.

BTW, tell anyone that chose not vote that they should be quiet-next time they feel the urge to complain about the shape our country is in, or the politicians that make laws, and administrate policy...

They aren't done counting yet, but still... If 10+ million fewer people showed up, maybe there is an issue with the product? Blame the consumer for not wanting a substandard product if you want, but that won't fix the product.

I really was looking for Obama to loose so that I could pick up some silverware, plates and pictures that Obama would loot for the Whitehouse on Ebay. Dang!

He is going to systematically destroy the American way of life. Look at what we have lost already. The idiots and liberal %^&* who voted for him do not even see it. Little bit here, little bit there. Before you know is we are wrapped in total socialism. Arm yourself to the teeth and be prepared for anything at this point. I do not even know what to call this country we live in anymore. I guess all the majority needs is Hollywood, vanity, Welfare, and something stupid to talk and gossip about on a daily basis. Keep your blinders on dummies.................

And "why" exactly would Obama "loot" the White House?

Nevermind, I know exactly what you meant....

This morning on Quinn & Rose's radio show, Quinn said,"You went to bed a citizen and woke up a subject." I think he has a point, but I am not at all pleased to be a subject.

If I had time today, I'd put some holes in Redcoat targets.

I think the crash happened on 9-11, literally, and economically. Terrorism on that scale, hitting our world financial center not only undermined consumer confidence, it cost untold billions, and trillions more on wars that cannot be won, and security that cannot be had. Our country has become divided, timid, and weak, just as they had hoped, and we're just flailing about now, gasping for air.

Obviously invading Iraq was a tactical error, but electing Obama was more than the terrorists could have hoped for. A repudiation of practically every American value such as freedom of speech, capitalism, strong military/foreign influence, Christianity, and so on. Yes, this is why he got the Nobel Peace Prize, it was his mandate to make America impotent so that other countries could flourish. Obama never believed America was great and allowed the world to flourish. So as we decompose into bankruptcy over the next four years under socialist policies like Obamacare, I expect to see the rest of the world begin to rot too.

The terrorists didn't want to destroy America, they wanted to destroy civilization. So they went to the root of it, American money, and security.

This is true. Putin, Chavez, Castro and the Chinese are probably having a huge party tonight. I wonder how long Israel can survive with our government standing against them?

I never thought voting for president would have this big of a impact on me.. This was my first presidential election.

But voting for Romney, and having this huge let down happen, it's like that feeling you get when your first real girlfriend dumped you, or that time your mom caught you with a beer.. It's terrible..

Yeah but don't you at least feel good that you were part of the Democratic process? Win or lose, you got to vote.

In Indiana it almost never matters in terms of the Presidental election but the Senate and other elections are contested. I wasn't going to vote this time but HAD to vote against Mourdock. I felt ashamed to be a Hoosier with that moron in office. We got rid of a very respected man in Lugar to get that pile of fail?

I am disappointed in my fellow Americans today, but I am proud of my fellow Hoosiers for letting the rest of the world know how we feel about the presidential office. I'm buying a new gun just in case.

I am astounded at the number of supposed gun owners so willing to vote for those dedicated to taking away the RKBA. They must be trolls because no one could be that stupid.

    Respected by who?
You beat me to it, he was respected by Democrats because he could be counted on to vote with them I suppose.

He compromised. It is what we need if you truly want to avoid this cliff.

Although I agree with much of what the tea party wants most of your leaders are nuts and are out of touch with reality.

They will be the death of the conservative party.

Unfortunately with Democrats compromise only works one way, for the Republicans to give in.
