    It's not medical waste. It's not biohazardous, and they do make excellent water bottles because they are tough as hell.

    Irrigation can be cleaning out wounds and it can also be for cleaning equipment before use or any of a number of reasons. It's put in humidifiers for oxygen lines and it's used for wetting dressings.

    It's marked "irrigation" to distinguish it from fluids that can be injected.

    I see far worse being sold here to contain foodstuffs.

    They are used by oral surgeons to either dispense into irrigating syringes or to hang and be a sterile water source for surgical hand pieces. They are rarely if ever touched during procedures and don't have direct patient contact. That is a VERY logical concern though, thanks for bringing it up so it can be explained.

    I've gotten a few of these from him a while back, they really are the best water bottles I've owned.
