I've tried alot of the previously mentioned sites and got disgusted with them during this ammo shortage. It seemed that every time I would order some ammo, I would later find out that the ammo was backordered.

Then one extremely lucky day while I was surfing the net, I ran across an ammo site called Cheap Ammo | In Stock Ammo For Sale and I've been extremely happy ever since. This site has a live inventory system that only shows what is in-stock. Yay!!! No more backorders! They're based out of Knoxville, Tn and their shipping is extremely quick. I've compared their prices to all the other ammo sites such as cheaper than dirt, cabelas, etc., and have found that the Lucky Gunner site is alot cheaper than anyone I've found.

I was having problems getting cci's in .22cal and this site always seems to have them in-stock and at a great price. Since that time, I now buy 45acp's and 40s&w's plus .223's and the .22cal cci's in bulk. Forget the other sites..Lucky Gunner is top notch.

upon visiting this site, I noticed several problems. One...does it have live inventory? How do I know the ammo that I want is in-stock and not backordered? Two...this site is not very well organized. I went shopping for some .45acp and found it mixed in with other calibers. Did I say mixed? Excuse me! I meant to say it was not put in any rational order. I'd see some .380 then some .45acp then some .40s&w then some more 45acp. It was too wishy-washy for me. It might have some good prices and it may have high quality ammo but when I shop for ammo, I want the same caliber together and I also want to know if it is in-stock or backordered too.

I have done business with em all....until the big ammo shortage ordeal.
I did find out that sometimes it helps finding a dealer closer to Indiana....it saved alot on shipping time/costs.
Gilbertsguns.com is located in KY, and Outdoormarksman has a warehouse in Louisville.
