    Edit: Well, not so old with Nate. But you know what I mean.
    I remember talking s*** like that, lol. Then them old bastards walked up to the line and proceeded to shoot 4" groups at 200yrds standing offhand, 20rds in under 60 seconds.
    Long-range shooters today have a lot more access to excellent equipment than we did. Only good 308 ammo was Lake City match ammo, if you could find it. Brass was hard to find, pulled many a bullet out of G.I. ball ammo and replaced it with the Sierra 168gr Matchking, aka Mexican Match. My first M1A Supermatch was really expensive, $450, lot of money back then, lol.
    Nobody shared tips or information, they took it very, very serious.
    I got to shoot a few National Guard team matches back in the late 70s and I wasn't even in the Guard, they even brought me a uniform and furnished the ammo. Damn, that was fun.
