My brother and I had a chance to check them out Weds. It was very cool. They had a large store, pistol, and rifle range. We only had time for the rifle range which was what we came for. It had an electronic target system that would send the target out anywhere from 25 to 100 yards.

The folks were very nice and knowledgeable. Our range officer was a young ex-marine who showed us who to use the machine. This is an excellent location to sight in a rifle. Especially in Feb.

I shoot at Open Range fairly often and it is a very nice place. Matter of fact, I'm planning to head out there early tomorrow to sight in my .308 after finding a good source for M118SB!

I've never met a "former" Marine, either.

Openrange is highly recommended. Sales staff are out on the floor and available and they don't work on commission. Lot's of knives and such also. I like the wide variety of pistols available to rent (although sometimes they need cleaning). They have concealed carry purses for the ladies, or Pincraft, whoever.

Here's a pic of the rifle range I snapped as my target was heading down to the 100 yard line. I was set up right against the wall this morning.
