Remember when a bunch of people believed federal law was unconstitutional and seceded from the government. Remember how it was once their right to do so? Remember when instead of being allowed, they were attacked and forced to denounce their succession.

Then they were made an example in the history books, of futility and madness. They were associated with slavery rather than human and states rights by the media, demonized by hollywood.

All the glory to the United States, unified federalists, purveyors of human civil rights yet... Murderer of states rights, incarcerator of african-american youth, conquerors of the continents indigenous people, and catalyst of slave labor in China and abroad.

We the people of the United States, the people like this Sheriff, must be allowed to disagree with what the federal laws may be, and must be allowed to speak out against them. That is the redeeming quality of this nation, its people and its foundation. It was founded on principals that were good and just and, while even in its conception, some civil rights issues were never properly implemented, the language includes all men to be created equal.

Let's not forget the past and begin moving towards our country's future!

We must stand for equality, inalienable rights, and move this country out of the fog of war and tyranny.
