Saw a CH-47 over Mt. Saint Francis on the way home.

Yes. I've seen them here at the house too.

But as far as being in the house and hearing a loud plane, nothing beats the C-130 that buzzed my house so low I felt like I could have thrown a rock at it an hit it. Was around 2012.

Mind you I've never been to their location or really know anything about them, I just saw them on FB.

I stopped in their shop a month or two back and he told me that he was building an new shop and range next to the new fire house south of town. That must have fell thru.

Pretty sure that patch that is being cleared between the DG and Parkland Heights is where they are moving to.

The A-10’s routinely practice over my place, but a few years ago there was a show at Purdue and three WWll prop. driven planes flew over, headed south. I couldn’t believe they could even stay in the air going that slow. Looked about 1000 ft. off the ground. One I believe was a B-17, others were much smaller.

Only time I’ve seen the CH-47 in civilian life was after the ice storms about 20 years ago. Helping reset power lines I take it.

I've seen 3 A-10's hauling over Highlander Pointe Jay-C. WR knows where that is.

Kroger had a warehouse right across the road from SDF / Air National Guard back when I was a kid. Our trucking company had a contract with Kroger to haul their cardboard and we stayed pretty busy swapping trailers there. Always got to see a few military jets take off and even seen a Harrier showing off. You could park right at the fence at the end of the runway in 4 wheeler and have them go right over your head.
