Apparently, cats cause me to not breath well.

    So.. they suck.

When I visited a work buddy at home, I had to stay in his kitchen.
Cause the carpeting and couches in the living room held the cat dander/hair.
    Even the kitchen wasn't perfect.

Both Chunkadoodle and Callie were/are just as excited when I come home after being gone awhile as any dog I've had. I used to think all cats were just aloof and uninterested in any kind of human contact. I was wrong.

Okay, well that I can understand. My BIL was always severely allergic to cats and dogs, and my sister was always a cat and dog person. They managed to work things out, and now, the BIL isn't bothered by cats or dogs anymore. They're a few years older than me, but I guess he "outgrew" it, or maybe just became desensitized.

Around my eyes swell a bit, and then the eyes start to water.
And the throat closes up making it difficult to breath.
    Can barely just sit there.
If I had to go to work, and actually do work... torture.
Well, to my way of thinking, it's actually allergies that suck, rather than the allergen.

My grandpa was the same way. He kept about twenty of them to keep his barn rat free, but he would shoot any cat or dog that tried to steal the pigs' food. Pigs mostly took care of things for themselves.

No quarter near the pigpen for any animal when he let the pigs out to root around in the fields.

Fed the cats (rarely) only in the barn, dogs were fed (every day) in the field.
Cats were welcome in the field, but not so much with the dogs
There were no second chances. Caught, gone.

Cats learned fast; dogs never seemed to get the connection.

    Good Evening fellow Infidels/Deplorables/Extremists

Laid back weekend. 2 bluegills and 2 red ears just before dusk yesterday after wind died. Today same wind problem. No keepers but a northern grabbed a 7” gills and didn’t want to let go. Little adrenal rush for couple minutes. Regardless a beautiful day and sunset
