I've wondered how much his knives cost, but I'm afraid to ask.

I pour composites to make blanks. Those are then turned into whatever someone wants to make from them.
I used to cast rods for pen makers around the world. As of late, I cast blocks that are used to make grips and knife scales.

I used to make a lot of pens, and that's where I got started with casting, some 20 years ago.
There's a gentleman on this forum that goes by Frosty, that has purchased several blanks from me and has made
them even better, by adding them to his beautiful knives.

For me, casting is an addiction.

Casting metal and composites are worlds apart.
If you are ever interested in setting up for composite, I can give you some pointers.
I'm no expert, but I can figure it out.

They remind me of some bowling balls from back in the 70's! Of course I'd not be surprised to find that the process for both is similar.

Similar, but different material. There was a while, where people cut the acrylic off bowling balls, flattened it, and made pens.
