Haven't been here a whole day and I'm sick if Florida.

Sounds familiar.
My wife has five brothers and the get togethers are necessary for her and the kids, but I have little in common with any of the five (only one hunter, but all bow - out of my league) and all but one of the wives are a nightmare to me.

Honestly I hang out and goof with the nephews way more.

Usually no music. These aren't music people. My folks were all music all the time.
How did I enter this family?
Well, they a ball team and I married the cheerleader.

But you lost me at rap music! Rather not, thank you.
Sometimes it's a duty, though.

This little corner of the family is "different". Susan's daughter had the 2 oldest grandkids with the father, but he also raised his step children, and his stepdaughter's kids (all from different fathers). Trying to figure out the exact relationship between the two grandkids and the other kids is a little like Willie Nelson's "I'm My Own Grandpa" song. And now, all those kids are raising themselves because the dad is always working. Needless to say it's pure chaos over there and it drives me crazy to even be around it.

got laundry back on track. Last load in the washer now.

oh, I also stopped and got some do it’s from the goshen donut place. They were already sold out of a lot of kinds.

I got a headstart on laundry yesterday.

My wife has to wash all her uniforms and has a standing claim for Saturday, in perpetuity.

But she won't have to worry about any of the rest.

I try to keep it that way, but half the time, I'm distracted by monumentally important things, like finishing a project.
That's what live in kids can do.

Got up and ready to get things done…. Couldn’t sleep so it looks too nice to lay in bed.. + it’s my 24th wedding anniversary today so need to get out and about.. I bought her a round pen.. 5 years ago it was a manure spreader.. yes really and she was excited about it.. she’s a real horse nut!

Just switched out the propane tank on the heater so I'll be making a trip to Ace either today or tomorrow to refill the empty.
