Resolved the mythical tales of the Wendy's Orange Frosty curiosity for myself.

Outing done, lunch call enroute, stopped for a dessert for the 1000s feeding at our trough.

New fan here. Me luvs! Big hit for all.

I've been looking to "replace" a stolen item.
It happened during our move to this new home.

I had kept a '71 Rem 1100 (treasured old friend) close by, but then I fell off a ladder and broke my arm in three places.

Some time during the hospital episode, someone watching, came in to our old home who would have valedictorianed a lesson in lead poisoning, had things gone more my way.

I left it against a close corner, it was my carry through many dangers, and it was gone that same night when I was done being doctored.
It was the first thing I ran back home for! It was gone!

Chevy driver here, not likely to replace that treasure anytime soon.
    *still crying*

But the kids need something ... ... more.

Field with .22s and hand weapons, they have both excelled.
    Safety wise mainly.
Neither have ever fired a powerful long gun, yet.

    I have work to do.

Taking two pumps with me when we visit my BIL's family up in Wabash Co. next month.

    Callie just trusts you.
Well I couldn't get her to come out from under the bed. I was hoping she would when I took my nap. I think maybe that she's not hurt but just got really freaked out by the whole dog incident. I just rubbed her all over again and there wasn't so much as a flinch out of her, so obviously she's not in pain.

I am so relieved. I do love that little girl. :)
Had one that chose me off a feeder hypo at three weeks old. Took her from a solid animal savior who had rescued a litter of wet ones after someone ran over the mommy kitty, trying to move her brood in a new construction site.

She never even questioned that original oath for her entire fifteen year life. She was my kitty!
    Best friend for Many Years!

I took her with me when it felt safe. We were pals!
    Long life for your baby!

She claimed me as soon as Susan brought her home. I thought our previous cat Chunkadoodle was a daddy's girl, but Callie is on a whole 'nuther level.

The king is just right for me. He will sleep on the foot of the bed. I have to give him a good petting when I get up. Then he is pretty well done until the evening when he will sometimes sleep on my belly while I watch tv, after the dog is locked up.

Same with my Nina! (side note: let your kids name the pets)

I've had plenty of cats, even loved most of them.
This one was special in her own ways.
I miss her still. She was my best friend.
