Other than fun Is there a role for 410

I'm oddly drawn to the single shot .410, had a snake charmer years ago, wish I hadn't sold it, saw a .410 Tuffy yesterday for $159, tempting....I think would be fun gun, home defense, hunting, and yes, if I ever had the money I would bring home a S&W Governor....

I have a Saiga 410 I want to cut down to make a nice small slug gun for the wife.

My uncle was an excellent shot. His last day here on earth was spent shooting clays with his neighbors.

He didn't waste a clay and they were trying ways to make it harder and harder to be successful.

He finally told them to wait there and went into the house and came back with his .410.

He finished the day without missing a clay, the next morning he was gone. Fun or essential, you decide...
