Youtube has a lot of videos on paracord wrapping.

Here's a picture of a knife I did that is similiar:

I just lapped 2 chords at a time, while pulling it as tight as possible while doing it. Also, if you want a flatter handle, remove the filler chords before you start.

There is a video on YouTube. Maybe a few specifically for wrapping an Izula.
Used one to get mine done.
