I believe they also read the second amendment, the only problem is that they dont understand the "shall not be infringed" part.

I dont know why they are so affraid of suppressors that they need to be registered.
In France they are classified as "ear protection devices" just like ear muffs.
They are not registered and you can have them shipped to your door without having to go thru any paper work, you dont even have to show ID.

Of course, no one answers their door there anymore for fear of rioters.....but what do you expect from a country that classifies rifles as "tent stakes"?

Yes, I want suppressors to be open sale with no "tax stamp" or NFA process.

BUT, right now with the threat looming of an AWB, IF suppressors were removed from the NFA of 1934 they would then most likely be restricted/banned under any new AWB legislation. At least with it this way we still have an avenue to get one for the time being.

I can tell you the BATFE is looking into putting suppressors on 4473s
But NOT removing them front the NFA registery.....
Still pay the tax as well .
This probably won't happen over night .
This was part of the meeting with BATFE & NFATCA at the last SAR show .
