I'm looking to do some extensive work to a Beretta 96. I plan on adding a rail and a compensator. I would prefer the comp to be attached to the rail, which would mean I would need to drill and tap the frame to accept the rail, and the same for the comp to the rail. I know this seems a little weird, but it'll make more sense as soon as I figure out how to post pics on here. In the mean time, my concern is in regards to stress on the frame coming from the comp. Is this something I should be concerned about?
