To me, the worst part of that isn't that it was done to a 1911. I usually don't care what people do to their guns but I do cry a little when they go and muck around with a piece of history like that...made in 1944...what a waste.

This^^ totally ruined a piece of history and from the looks of it a nice one too. Someone turned a 1200 to 1500 buck gun into a 300 piece of crap.
