November 4, 2008 if Barak Obama is elected to be our next president we will in the next four years no longer be able to recognize our great country for what it once was. Barak is a great eloquent speaker and a very attractive candidate, however the people in Germany thought Hitler was also (I don't think Obama is Hitler I'm just saying it is easy for us to be mislead), the power that the current president Bush has given the executive branch and we as Americans have let him have, will be passed on to a very liberal socialist with one thing in mind, to advance this country further into socialism. We recently saw congress passing the socialist bailout bill, bailing out unreasonable people and companies from their own arrogates and stupidity. Under Barak Obama we can expect more of the same and oh by the way the Democrats (Socialist) will have control of the House of Representatives and the Senate and right now polls show that the Democrats may have more that 60 votes in the senate which mean that the democrats will be able to block any attempts by the minority party to filibuster or block any type of the liberal socialist legislation. Giving Barak even more power to do as he wishes and we have already seen how he can inspire people by his great speeches almost to the point of brainwashing the young and the not so politically informed.
So why is Socialism wrong for America ?
Well socialism is wrong not only for America but wrong for everyone around the world. We are all individuals and as individuals we all have independent thoughts and act on our individual freedom to do so. People inherently what to be free to do as they wish. The power to inherently be free is given to all of us by our creator whom ever we believe that may be. In 1776 in the declaration of independence the founders put in a line that resonates a truth that we all know to be true and that is we are all creation equally and have equal rights that are inherently true to all. And among these rights are the RIGHT TO LIFE, liberty, and to pursue our own happiness.
Socialism as it is defined in Webster’s dictionary is various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. Or a system of society or group living in which there is no private property: and a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state, And lastly a stage of society in Marxist theory of transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done. Now let us go back to that bailout bill the government has set a new standard in buying stock in privately owned banks and mortgage/investment firms. This is the start of removing freedom to own private property, Socialism is an unnatural from of government it’s main focus is to change the natural flow of human actions good and bad into what is so-called right by all however wrong by all.
So is Barak really a Socialist?
Well if you listen to his great speeches, you may find yourself believing his grand plans for taking from the rich and giving to the pore in America . This Robin Hood look on living in America is not only the wrong way of looking at the progressive tax system but a fatal miscalculation into the heart of human need to be free and the want of man to keep the fruits of his or labor. In a resent meet and greet with voters in Ohio Mr. Obama stated to the now famous Joe the plumper “I don’t want to stop you, we just want to spread the wealth around” and so finally we see the real intent of the Dem's and their socialist agenda for America . According to Barak Hussein Obama the America dream stops at 250,000 dollars a year, I don’t make any where near that much money but I don’t feel the need to take the fruits of another mans labor to make me closer to their income level. If a man robs you at gun point and says to you give me what I need and not wanting to be shot you obey his commands and give him what he demands, this action is no different than what the government does when it forces you and me to pay so-called income tax and not just to pay for the government but to redistribute the wealth around to whom they feel are more deserving than you who worked so hard for it.
Bottom line
If we in America continue on the same path we are currently on, we will find ourselves depriving the people of their private property to the point when our children will wake up homeless on the continent our fathers conquered. The ideas laid out for us in the declaration of Independence and the constitution declare to us that we are all free and have the right to liberty and to pursue are own form of happiness, but increasingly we find that big and often oppressive government gets in the way of our right to declare for ourselves what we want our lives to be. And so in that same declaration it states that “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. And that to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, having its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. And it is our right and our duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for our future and security”. The easiest way for us to do this is to vote for candidates that will uphold these ideas and not try to create change them into the form in which he wishes. If you really want Change a vote for Barak will be a vote in the wrong direction away from our free-market capitalist past into a statist socialist future where we will serve the government and not where the government is in service to us. If Barak Obama is defeated we can use McCain to rebuild the conservative movement, we are at a crossroads we will go one way or the other; we will plunge ourselves further into socialism or restore the capitalist republic our parents and grandparents fought, died and worked so hard to build.
