Its passage has already had an impact as assorted town and county bureaucrats are scrambling to come into compliance by the October 1 deadline.
This approach and remedy cuts out all the BS feet dragging and the sneaky back door way's that these local weasel bureaucrats try and concoct to skirt around pro 2A legislation at the state level. :yesway: Gov. Scott

I didnt realize FL had the law to level gun laws across the state, but its great that there are consequences for violating that law. Hopefully the momentum will continue across the country, and gun laws across the US will be evened out.

    this is a dupe thread.

Indiana just did this here. the only difference is that the FL law has been on the books longer and this year the added "teeth" to the law by imposing penalties for non-compliance.

Then why can you still not carry in a City park in Indy? I was unaware Indiana had anything like this and if we do, it needs some "teeth" like the Florida one.

you can carry in a city park in Indy. You have been able to since July first of this year. The signs/websites/etc just haven't changed yet. All this stuff has to be ordered and it is not cheep or quick to do.
