Stop giving it public money, stop allowing them to be involved in ANYTHING involving the federal gov. But until they are convicted of something we don't want to go down the road of allowing the Government to close organizations down because they are unpopular. Yes i know what they are, but a large portion of this country believes the NRA is despicable too, or your church or the boy scouts...you get the idea. Get them indicted and then convicted and i will cheer while they go off to jail.

+1. Organizations like this tend to de-materialize or splinter quick when their bottle gets taken away. The only time I want to see the word asset seizure and freeze is when the HEAD of the offending organization is hauled off and the weather report.

Accusations of voter fraud all across the country, and video proof of conspiracy to commit tax fraud and violate immigration laws! Where's the RICO investigation? If this were any other organization, DOJ investigators would be crawling up their a***s right now.

I heard a soundbite on the radio, a congressman defending ACORN:

"This is completely unconstitutional! Cutting ACORN's funding without a fair trial?"

I think the unconstitutional part is the fact that taxpayers are subject to fund companies in the first place.
