    For an AK style rifle, which mags are generally considered better the poly or metal? What inherent advantages are there to either?

    In my lair
    I like steel. Cheaper and indestructible like my rifle. If you go poly, get ones with steel locking lugs at least. My tapco and promags get mangled. I would use Circle 10s if I could find them at a decent price.
