Might not be as current or as cool as some of the others posted on here.

But FWIW here's some of me back in the 80's doing some Fire Support for the Infantry up at Camp Grayling, MI. These shots were of me and my field office (jeep) :D And the A10 we called in for close air support. :yesway: :patriot:

I remember those days, though my first time at Grayling was '92, after I got off active duty.

Those who serve in the military get to play with the cool stuff because they wrote that blank check to their country. They deserve the right to use these weapons because they earned it. Those of us who have not served have not earned that right. We should forever honor those who serve.
God bless you all and your families.

how did you manage being prior service, AND still only an E-3? Branch swapping?

just curious because when I came in I was an e-3... 3 years ago and after basic I got a promo.

either way, I wish I had my camera for some pictures.

    same here lol

You just have to feel the experience of dropping Artillery on a target from a few miles away. Or the way it feels when a pilot sends a missile through a target YOU talked him onto. Then wave at him when he does an inverted fly by over your position and you can see right inside the cockpit.

Hell yeah...nothing like it in the world. :patriot:

Exactly there is nothing in the world like being in a forward position listening to the rounds YOU called in scream over your head to impact on the target YOU wanted destroyed. :rockwoot:

My biggest regret is that we do not use Napalm anymore... :dunno:
