I have begun to hear a lot about Ben Carson lately, mostly from the FOX Network. I like the way he handles himself during interviews and the way he carefully answers political questions. What do the rest of you think of him? I'd like to know more about him before I really make up my mind.

If you have any interest in pro-2A candidates, you will want to look more closely into Mr. Carson's comments. He seems to indicate that he's a "relative gun supporter". Specificially, you may have gun rights in Montana but not in NYC or Chicago.

No, I can't support him, if he's a Republican then he's a RINO in the same vein as Gov. Christie and probably just a spineless.

I will note, however, that he since backpedaled on his earlier comments and stated that he does support the 2A. But I consider that to-little-too-late since now we really don't know his true stance. Was he truthful the first time and then advised by his committee that he f-'d up and needed to "clarify". Or did he "mis-speak" (which is a euphemism for lying) to impress a particular audience and later decided he needed to correct himself.

I know that lying is not such a big deal anymore with most people, except Brian Williams, but I'm sick of politicians of BOTH parties saying one thing and then doing another once they get into office.

A few months ago, there really wasn't much being said about Walker. Now he seems to be getting a lot of attention. IMO he is way ahead of the others and this will become more evident with time. My gut tells me this is the guy we need in the White House. Let's hope Jeb drops out early.

I suspect that if the Dems didn't find anything to use against Walker in their 3 tries at defeating him in Wisconsin, and if he continues with his winning formula (e.g. talk about his agenda, doesn't respond to canards against him) he will be a tough candidate to beat - if he makes it through the Primaries. I'm sure the next thing the MSM harp on will be his "lack of foreign policy experience" (yes, of course the current Pres had no foreign policy experience, but he was "The One.") We may only hope that Walker will surround himself with the same type of folks who helped him win his Wisconsin elections and not cave to the "Washington Elites" who know everything about everything in politics except how to win elections.

Who will the democrats nominate? Hillary Clinton (I think she's baked), Joe Biden (One can only hope), John Kerry (Yes, he's thinking about it), Elizabeth Warren (uh no way) and I just heard this morning that Al Gore is firing up a exploratory committee on making another dash for the office. It'll be a true battle royale.

I'm thinking Scott Walker is the candidate I want in the race. He talks policy and mostly ignores canards. The dems haven't been able to dig up any dirt on him yet. And if he really is a threat to the existing social order, then that is definitely who I want to vote for. The status-quo is not acceptable.

Ben Carson hasn't figured out how to answer questions like a politician yet...he's doomed. I think he's a decent enough guy but from what I've seen, he answers the questions with political tone-deafness.
