The hazmat fee is high, but with the local prices in NE Indania it does not take much of an order to make up for it. A few thousand primers and some powder and you're ahead of the game.
Yes, it's still cheaper to reload, and if you shop around a bit, you can get primers for a reasonable price. There is one local shop that charges outrageous prices for their primers and I simply will not buy from them. Other shops are reasonable, but none of them offer the deal I get at the shop at Atterbury. The last box of 1,000 I picked up for $29, but I think they're up to maybe $32, now. That's still better than the $41 that LGS I mentioned was asking!
Shooting Iron in Martinsville is a pretty good price and he is pretty decent on powder too. He doesnt have a whole lot of different powders to choose from right now because he just opened up and isnt a reloader him self but if you tell him what you are looking for he puts it on his next order. Good guy too!
