Hello all. A while back I got this weapon because it was dirt cheap at Cabelas, but I have been having an issue with it whenever I take it to the range. When dry firing and using snap caps I have no issues firing the weapon in both single and double action (despite the double action being heavier than a Nagant revolver), but after a cylinder's worth of shots at the range, the weapon begins to malfunction; the trigger seizes up and the weapon cannot even be cocked to fire in single action. Thoughts?

I would suspect rough or dirty chambers.
The cartridge cases will move back against the breach face when fired and the roughness or fouling will keep them from moving forward as the cylinder rotates. The drag against the recoil shield will lock things up.
A way to test it is open the cylinder when it locks up and check to see if any cartridge cases are not fully seated in the chambers.
Sometimes just opening the cylinder will free things up.
