Prosecutors say Muncie man's fatal shooting justified after stalking, threats

MUNCIE, Ind. — Prosecutors said a Muncie man had threatened and stalked members of a southside family before he was fatally shot outside their home. Delaware County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman in recent days released a report on the homicide, and said he had determined the fatal shooting was "legally justifiable in that the shooter acted in self-defense."

Checked and didn't see this as a dupe.

Wrongful passion can make you do stupid actions. Stupid actions can make you dead. Don't be like Muncie Man.

This **** had been going on almost 6 years. "Muncie Man" had a stalker conviction out of it and kept doing it.

Seems like having the history of this documented in the form of Police reports is a very good thing should use of deadly force become required.

Finally! A prosecutor not trying to test an agenda and properly used some common sense to evaluate the case and statute and case law and made a sound decision. Kudos to this prosecutor for reading and correctly applying the law!
