It seems like the time to buy. The market is pretty well flooded after the Great Panic of 2013. This is my first personally owned AR, so we'll see how it goes.

Snapping an upper and lower together isn't really assembling.

I can't buy one of the Sports. No forward assist and no dust cover just sets my teeth on edge. I know, I know, folks get by fine without them but I spent too much time with GI rifles to be comfortable without the dust cover. Plus I need a light on my patrol rifle, so by the time I put a rail on, I'd be over the PSA price.

Around Christmas (they had some really good sales back then) I put one together with a blem lower and blem upper with their rear sight for $575 all said and done, no rail though. Looks like they have free shipping through the 4th on uppers, tough to beat $360 for a plain jane with bcg and ch

Nice looking upper. I'm sure you will be pleased. You can't beat their uppers and lowers especially when on sale. Just don't get in a hurry with PSA. Shipping takes a few days. They have improved some internal systems to shorten ship times.
